UofL women jolly on Ugly Christmas Sweater Night

All dressed up for Ugly Sweater Night were Jeff Walz, Samantha Williams, Kate Tucker and Stephanie Norman. Sam Purcell went one step further, wearing a Santa Claus suit. The University of Louisville women’s basketball team was not distracted, winning 86-58 over College of Charleston. The Cardinals were led in scoring by Asia Durr and Myisha Hines-Allen with 20 and 14 points, respectively. Many in the crowd of 7,567 were in the Christmas spirit as well (Cindy Rice Shelton photos).

I would like to add that the woman standing next to Coach Walz is Assistant Coach Samantha William a former student of mine at Manual High School in Louisville. She is super lady and I am very proud of her
