Mitchell emerges in slow start, leads UofL past Eastern Kentucky

Donovan Mitchell providing a reliable presence during a sluggish start for Louisville against Eastern Kentucky, falling behind the visitors by 10 points early in the first half. That was before Mitchell (above and below) and Quentin Snider starting finding the basket. Mitchell and Snider would score 15 and 13 points, respectively, improving UofL’s won-lost record to 10-1. Dillon Avare, a former Cardinal, notched a 3-pointer to open the game but was held scoreless the rest of the way.
