With fundraising nearing completion for the $4 million Jim Patterson Stadium expansion, the Observer applies his signature to one of the many baseballs to be displayed in a permanent showcase of donor-signed baseballs. Stadium capacity is being expanded from 1,500 to more than 4,000 seats overall. Currently, there are about a hundred $300 white baseballs and a couple of dozen $1,000 gold baseballs still available. An event honoring donors coincides with a full scrimmage next Friday. Call Brandon Graves at 852-7244 to get your baseball.
