The University of Louisville baseball team has announced its 2013 schedule, which includes 36 home games. Highlights:
- The opening game is against Indiana University Feb. 15th in the annual Big East/Big Ten Challenge in Clearwater. The Cards will face South Florida and Purdue the next two days.
- Opening of expanded Jim Patterson Stadium with 3,500 additional seating, Feb. 20, against Eastern Kentucky. The policy of free admission to all home games except the UK game will continue.
- All games except the home game against Kentucky will continue to be free.
- Three-game series against Alabama, March 6-10.
- Big East Conference play begins March 22 at home with three-game series against Rutgers.
- Home game against UK, April 2, road game at UK, April 16.
- Road game at Indiana, March 26, home game against IU, May 8.
