Construction is well under way on the expansion of Jim Patterson Stadium for the University of Louisville Baseball Cards.
Individual contributors received invitations Friday to participate in the autographing event on Friday, Oct. 12. Their signatures will be permanently displayed in a special Cardinal showcase in the main concourse.
Brandon Graves, fundraising guru, indicates there are still about 100 baseballs available, which would help reach the $4.2 million goal to double the seating capacity to 3,000.
Giving levels are $300 and $1,000, and can be spread out over a couple of years.
