Former University of Louisville football player Joe Tronzo (left) joins veteran play-by-play announcer Paul Rogers on the UofL radio network when the 2012 season kicks off Sunday. Tronzo, who played from 2006 through 2009 as a fullback and before that at St. X., majored in exercise physiology in college.

The UofL radio network includes WHAS and WKRD in Louisville (depending on conflicts with UK games), WNDE in Indianapolis, WCKY in Cincinnati, WMKJ 105.5 in Lexington, WSFC 1240 in Somerset, WFKY1490 in Frankfort, WLVK in Elizabethtown, WYMC 1430 in Mayfield, WQXQ 101.9 in Owensboro, WPAD 1560 in Paducah, WLYE 94.1 in Bowling Green, WHLN 1410 in Harlan, WCCK 95.7 in Calvert City, and WWXL 1450 in Manchester.

    1. That would be Paul Sykes, but I’ve never noticed anything objectionable about either of them. 🙂

      1. I find the Observer equally unobjectionable and Paul Rogers always looks pretty well-groomed and nattily attired whenever I run across him.

  2. Joe is a great guy and will add a lot to the football broadcasts. HE still holds the UofL weightlifting record.

    And…CBCard…I bathe regularly. LOL
