Who says women’s basketball players don’t have fun? Hamming it up for the Card Game lens during the opening practice session for the University of Louisville women was Cierra Robertson-Warren, a 6-foot-4 transfer from North Carolina. She played in 31 games at UNC as a freshman, averaging 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds per game while hitting 48.5% of her shots. Cierra is obviously going to have fun and be fun to watch when she becomes eligible in the 2011-12 season. (Copyright © 2010, CSWorks)

  1. Having watched Cierra several times this year at practice she pretty much dominated the freshmen in the post (Dyer, Vails) and gave Keisha Hines all she wanted. She positions well, goes to the board agressively and has a nice put back off the rebound.

She works hard to get open in the paint and ifthere is a weakness it would be defensively…but that’ll come in time.
