No home runs this game for St. John’s Jeremy Baltz, thank you. Just a single. But there’s always tomorrow.

Good guys win this one, 10-6, with Ryan Wright capturing batting honors for the University of Louisville baseball team with two singles and three runs batted in.

  • Centerfielder Josh Richmond with two hits, his first two since returning Friday after a two-month injury absence.
  • U of L’s Tony Zych winning his first game, shutting down the Baltz hitting machine, allowing him no hits, giving up only two to everybody else.
  • School regular season record 41 wins (10 losses).

They go at it again Sunday at noon.

  1. More proof that when you pitch smart, you win.

Could there be a chance that a certain U of L pitching coach was embarrassed by his bad advice to his young pitchers last night? I’m just sayin’….

Let’s get at least 15 runs against these guys tomorrow! Go Cards!
