Two University of Louisville soccer players are on the watch list for the Hermann Trophy, the highest individual award in college soccer. The award, sponsored by the Missouri Athletic Club, is selected by head coaches of NCAA Division I programs.

Vying for the honors are Colin Rolfe and Austin Berry, who are among nine returning starters on the nation’s top-ranked team during the pre-season.

Rolfe was the second runner-up for the Hermann Trophy last season and the only finalist to return to the field in 2011. He returns for his senior season after leading the team in scoring for the second straight season with nine goals and seven assists for 25 points.

Berry was named the Big East Defender of the Year and earned first team College Cup All-Tournament honors.
