University of Louisville fans are invited to attend a special event concerning the Cardinals’ head football coaching vacancy today at 5 p.m. at the Brown & Williamson Club, located on the third floor of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m. for the event and food and beverage will be available for purchase. A 4 p.m. press conference will be shown live on the monitors in the Brown & Williamson Club for those early arrivers. Charlie Strong will be on hand to meet fans.
Didn’t get out to meet Coach…did you Charlie? I watched the presser and man, this guy seems like a perfect fit for U of L – and the fans. Looks like TJ hit the mark again. I am so anxious to follow Coach’s recruiting trail. Go CARDS!!!
I expected him to be about 6-foot-8 after everything I’ve read about him. He’s probably a little over six feet but no less impressive. I like the fire in his eyes, the intensity in his voice, and the aura that surrounds him. The gut feeling is that he is and will continue to be a winner.
