DaMarcus Smith, the former Seneca quarterback who signed a letter of intent to play football at Central Florida University, after first verbaling to Charlie Strong at the University of Louisville knows what he really wants to do now:

“Today I have filed a release request with the University of Central Florida, asking to be released from my national letter-of-intent I signed in February, due to extenuating circumstances.”

“I send my apologies to the University of Louisville and the University of Central Florida for this issue. And I would also like to apologize to the Louisville fans and community who have supported me since the day I originally committed to the Cardinal family. I view this as a private matter and will have no further comment until a later date.”

  1. So, the young man has some maturity issues. Don’t most 18 year olds? I certainly did. Coach Strong is the man to help him work through all that and find himself. I welcome him back, whenever he gets here.

  2. What a little girl, make up your mind, oh how hard of a decision you had like 10 D1 offers, other kids would dream of that. I have a hard time thinking about Louisville wanting this dude back its like switching clicks and then asking back into the one you left behind. HAHA good luck amigo, now we all see why people can’t stand you.
