Life all but stops for the observer, everything else gets puts on hold, on the back burner, when Card Game goes swirling out of control. It happens to every blog. But we were undertaking some serious business, getting rid of the UK ads that frequent this site, almost resorting to desperate measures.

The site was a little crazy today, as some of you may have noticed. Back to normal again (fingers crossed), thanks to some good people at Solostream. These same people happen to be located in Samford, Connecticut and they are UConn fans. But they’re also Big East fans and went out of their way to help. Thanks Mike Durkin and to Alistair Barnett for their help, two people from Connecticut bending over backwards for a U of L fan.

Unfortunately, several comments to recent posts were lost in cyberspace. Back up in plenty of time not to be fretting about it during the UofL-UConn basketball game.

  1. I think the big east has to be the only conference in the country that feels more like a family than group of schools that play sports together. I find myself watching all the big east sports I can, regardless if my beloved cards are playing and I know many other big east fans do as well. Every time I travel I will bump into a fellow big east-er and the conversations are always friendly and supportive of each other’s program. The big east is definitely a special place and you’d be hard pressed to find that kind of fellow conference love in the SEC, ACC, Big 10, 12 or Pac-10.

  2. ‘To err is human–to really foul things up takes a computer.’ Paid my bills for 44 years, though!
    Keep on blogging…GO CARDS!
