  1. Hats off to the Wildcats for jumping on the Cards early. They built a margin by capitalizing on the inexperience of the defense. Locke and Cobb will have good seasons.

MORE IMPORTANTLY…many props to a Louisville squad that refused to quit, had a chance for the tie late in the fourth and held the talented Kenyucky duo to no touchdowns in the second half.

The rebuilding has begun, it may take awhile…but these Cardinals, that may be a little short on talent, are not short on heart.

  2. Well, that was horrible. I can’t believe those creeps beat us again…you can chalk up FOUR years that yUK’s beat up to our being Kragthorped. He decimated our once great football program. I believe in Charlie Strong and I still believe we’ll have a decent year this year but man, CS has a looonnnnng way to go rebuilding our program. As for smUK, they’ll get theirs because they aren’t a very good football team. They finished 2-6 in their SEC division last year and I doubt they will do better this year. I truly believe that this year (a hangover from the Kragthorpe era) will be the last time we lose to yUK for as long as Charlie is here. As bad as we looked today, they could only beat us by one touchtown….nothing to brag about but come on, they ALWAYS brag (remember the chest pounding for going to the Elite 8 last year???) They SO want to be DUKE (LOL) We’ll get better and I’m looking forward to it. go CARDS!!
