Another first for Shoni Schimmel, making the first team of the Full Court Press freshman All-America team, averaging 15.1 points and 4.9 assists per game during her first season with the University of Louisville women’s basketball team. The team also included Odyssey Sims of Baylor, Bria Hartley of Connecticut, Chiney Ogwumike of Stanford and Meighan Simmons of Tennessee. Full Court Press is a women’s basketball journal.
