Some 40,000 fans in the lower bowl should be waving rally towels when the University of Louisville football team storms the field for the 7:30 kickoff against Rutgers, courtesy of the Horseshoe Casino. The ticket office reported Tuesday that the game is sold out.
Also, the Allstate Tailgate Tour and representatives of the Sugar Bowl will be at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, starting with a special exhibit near Gate 4 (the main entrance), starting at 4:30.
One grand prize winner and three friends will receive a VIP trip to the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, where they will have the chance to watch the game with college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit, followed by a trip to the 2014 VIZO BCS National Championship in Pasadena. The grand prize winner will also take home a 2014 Buick Enclave.
