A report that Mario Benavides was injured during Monday’s University of Louisville football practice is erroneous, according to Rocco Gasparro, a team spokesman.
A source close to the team had indicated otherwise earlier Tuesday.
But Gasparro stated that Benavides participated in practice Tuesday.
For fun, I heard Mario then started building on the false claim on him by tweeting that Will Stein had miraculously grown 5″ since last season!! Hee-hee!!
