Can you feel it?

Intensity levels surrounding University of Louisville football are rising as players prepare for the upcoming semester. A number of players are already decorating dorm rooms at Betty Johnson Hall, others getting acquainted with private accommodations throughout the city. Here’s a schedule of upcoming events.

  • Wednesday, Aug. 4 — Players report to campus.
  • Thursday, Aug. 5 — First day of practice. First session at 5 a.m. for freshmen. Second session at 5 p.m. for returning players.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 10 — Media Day.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 11 — Players put on pads.
  • Sunday, Aug. 15 — Open House at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Noon.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 17 — Kickoff Luncheon, Marriott Downtown, 11:45 a.m.
  • Monday, Aug. 23 — School begins, first day of fall semester at U of L.
  • Monday, Aug. 30 — Charlie Strong press conference.
  • Thursday, Sept. 2 — Charlie Strong radio show, Tumbleweed, 7 p.m.

Louisville and Kentucky will clash for the Governor’s Cup on Saturday, Sept. 4, at 3:30 p.m.
