The story line changes.

Instead of a steady march toward a third Big East Tournament championship, the University of Louisville baseball team is in the losers’ bracket, facing its former coach Lelo Prado.

Louisville and South Florida will meet at 7:30 p.m. One hopes this one doesn’t start at 10 as the last game did, ending well after midnight.

U of L and USF have met nine times since Prado departed three seasons ago, with Louisville winning seven of those games. Prado coached 11 seasons at U of L from 1996-2006, winning 320 games.
