Jeff Walz, fresh from a top five recruiting class, is not letting up.

The coach of the University of Louisville women’s basketball team tweeted Sunday afternoon that “good things are happening in The Ville,” and that he and his staff were working hard to put another great recruiting class together.

One would hope that class includes Sara Hammond, the No. 1 high school prospect in the state. According to reports from the Cardinal Couple site, Walz made an in-home visit with Hammond’s family Thursday. She’s expected to choose between U of L and UConn any day now.

Hammond, a 6-foot-2 senior at Rockcastle County, hit 58% of her shots last season at Rockcastle County. She also achieved a rare quadruple double, with 18 points, 17 rebounds, 12 block shots and 10 steals in a game against Pulaski County.

Here’s an interview with Sara. She would look really good in a U of L uniform.
