Scott Long Injured Again

No expletives but some real pain here.

The University of Louisville football coaching staff has confirmed reports to WLKY-TV’s Fred Cowgill that wide receiver Scott Long suffered another serious knee injury today in practice, which probably means he is out for the season.

Long returned to action three weeks ago in the Memphis game after missing the first four games because of a pre-season injury. He had five receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns in the win over South Florida.

The UofL roster lists Long as a junior.

  1. I’ve always envisioned a voodoo party of UK fans up in the hills. Until a couple of weeks ago, bad winds were blowing the bad luck in their faces. Now the winds are blowing our ways again.

  2. What is it with Cardinals and knees lately? T-Will, Tise, Long.
It’s getting where I’m almost afriad to look at the sports section anymore. I
hope that the old saying about bad luck, etc. comes in threes is correct in this
case and we’re done with knee problems for UofL atheletes for a very long time.
The Syracuse game just got a lot more scarier.
