Green Lot fanaticism

Charlie Strong, a cardboard cutout of him anyway, stirs up the tailgaters in the Green Lot of Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium prior to Saturday’s Louisville-South Florida football game. The fire truck from the seventies, owned by long-time UofL fan Ron Thomas, circled the parking lot several times, bells ringing, sirens screaming, and firing up the party lovers. As the Cardinals keep winning, the fervor continues to grow in the Green Lot.
