With so many players on college football rosters, we don’t get to know many of them well, kids like William Gay who pass through the University of Louisville.

Gay is playing cornerback now for the Pittsburgh Steelers and his name was called often on a weekly basis during the regular season and playoffs.

What we didn’t know about him when he was playing at UofL was that he had overcome significant challenges after his mother was killed by his stepfather when he was 8 years old. An inspiring story, watch the video:
