Brown, a member of the University of Louisville’s 1980 NCAA championship basketball team, is currently head coach at Indiana University-Southeast where his team compiled an impressive 24-6 won-lost record during his second season. His assistant is Scooter McCray, another U of L standout. Wiley previously served as strength coach on Pitino’s staff.

Brown is conducting a series of basketball camps for local youngsters at IU-Southeast this summer, June 8-12, June 15-19 and June 22-26 for $175 each week, as well as a father-son camp, June 12-13, at $125 per person. Per his request, here’s a link to the camp brochure.

Just in case you were wondering, Wiley says his artificial thumb remains in the University of Louisville Hall of Fame at Freedom Hall. And he’s doing okay without a replacement, thank you.
