Two of the best in University of Louisville history were to be inducted into the UofL Athletic Hall of Fame Saturday.

Wheat is UofL basketball’s second all-time scorer with 2,183 points. He had 498 assists, 323 three-point goals and 204 steals during his career from 1993 to 1997. His honored jersey hangs in the KFC Yum! Center.

Redman is Louisville football’s all-time passing leader with 12,541 yards during four seasons from 1996 to 1999. He completed 1,031 of 1,679 passes with 84 touchdowns.

They were accompanied by Sean Green, who played baseball 1998-200; Tara McClure Isable, softball, 2000-2001; and Pip Sanders of the field hockey team, 1999-2002.
