Seemingly always in the background, Stephanie Norman (seated left) rarely attracts attention during University of Louisville women’s basketball games.

But her efforts haven’t gone unnoticed by Jeff Walz who has named her to be the Associate Head Coach.

Norman was recruiting coordinator at Vanderbilt for five seasons before arriving at UofL. She also served two seasons as an assistant at Oregon State after being an assistant at the University of Oregon for six seasons.

Norman was a four-year letterwinner at Arizona State University where she was captain during her junior and senior seasons.

  1. This move is well deserved and Coach Steph has been an integral part of the success Louisville has had in the Walz era.
