Yes, more soccer.

You’ll understand if this University of Louisville soccer team wins the NCAA tournament.

Jay Rolfe, Dad

First undefeated season in UofL soccer history.

Louisville should be the undisputed No. 1 college team in the nation after defeating Villanova 3-1 and Akron’s 2-1 loss to Cleveland State Saturday.

Akron has been ranked first in the coaches soccer poll most of the season, closely followed by Louisville in recent weeks. UofL has ranked first in another poll.

Saturday’s results should remove any doubts or impediments. Louisville should be on top of the heap in all the polls that matter.

Following his climatic first goal, Colin Rolfe heads for the sidelines, planting a kiss on a lady friend.

  1. We might have some problems in football and maybe basketball…but theres always soccer! I hope more UofL fans pay attention to this awesome moment in Cardinal Athletics history! Go Cards!

  2. “Undisputed No. 1 Louisville Cardinals” — does it get any sweeter than that? Maybe when you add “undefeated”….
