Rupp’s Rafters, a University of Kentucky fan message board, has allowed a poster to publish the name, address and telephone number of the person who did the Lexington Herald-Leader cartoon critical of John Calipari.
As of Wednesday, the moderators had not removed the information posted Tuesday, potentially exposing the cartoonist to harm. Totally irresponsible of the poster and the moderators, disregarding common sense while providing more ammo for an unflattering image of the UK fan base.
The moderators should have removed the information immediately. By leaving it up, they are as culpable as the poster for any hurt or “allahu akbars” directed toward the cartoonist.
