olliewoodA “Blue Out” has been declared at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Conn., when the University of Louisville basketball battles the UConn Huskies Saturday at 9 p.m.

Also, all fans will receive a free “Olliewood” T-shirt in honor of Coach Kevin Ollie, a UConn grad from the early nineties and a former NBA performer.

Louisville and UConn first met in the 2000-01 season, a game which ended in a 83-71 Husky victory. Through the first 14 games of the series, the Cardinals hold an 8-to-6 edge, including six of the last eight.

UConn (14-3) earned its second victory over an AP Top-25 team  Thursday when the Huskies defeated Memphis, 83-73, in front of a hostile crowd of 18,309 at the Fed Ex Forum in Memphis.

The game will be telecast on ESPN.
