The University of Louisville softball team, with its lofty 50-3 won-lost record, has earned the top seed in the Big East tournament and will face eighth-seeded Connecticut Thursday at 12:30 in the quarterfinals. The winner will meet the winner of No. 4 Syracuse and No. 5 DePaul Friday at 4.
The tournament will take place May 10-12 in South Bend with Saturday’s final game being televised on ESPNU at 6. The quarterfinals and semifinals can be seen live free of charge on BigEast.tv. Live streaming here.
