A total of 22,200 students are enrolled at the University of Louisville for the fall semester, an increase of 169 students, or 2.9% higher than in 2009.

President James Ramsey notes in the most recent issue of U of L Magazine about 60% of the students now come from outside Louisville. He adds that more than 25% of the students live on campus or in affiliated housing — as compared to 1999 when just 9% of students lived on campus.
