WHAS-TV steps up.

Two of the University of Louisville’s exhibition basketball games in The Bahamas will televised live, against teams called the Commmonwealth Giants on Aug. 11 and the Real Deal Shockers on Aug. 12. No TV for an Aug. 13 game against the Bahamas All-Stars.

The games will also be broadcast live on WHAS radio through the Cardinal Sports Network developed by Nelligan Sports Marketing, complete with pre- and post-game shows.

Louisville Metro, of course, always has the highest college basketball TV rankings in the land. Smart move for WHAS, reminiscent of FISBIE.
