As if things weren’t going bad enough for the University of Louisville women’s basketball team, the airplane on which they were to depart Pittsburgh on Sunday was hit by a fuel truck. That airplane was parked and the flight rescheduled. Fortunately, no one was on board at the time.
Rumor has it that Louisville head coach Jeff Walz was going to have the team jog home after a fifth straight loss (eight out of the last nine). Paul Sykes’ recap of the game is here.
