It’s not every day that a Louisville football fan is recognized as the chief architect of the deal preventing the United States from going into default on its national debt. Give credit where credit is due to Senator Mitch McConnell for crafting the deal.

One close escape.

  1. Let’s keep this site about sports, not politics. Senator “No-Connell” has done far more harm to this country in the last couple of years than good. He deserves not one moment of credit for this disgusting recent performance.

  2. It was a calamity of their own making. The American people didn’t cause this problem nor did the rest of the world. Congress create this problem completely on their own, so to give credit, I think not.
