Sticking around home. Washington.

All the signs were there. Big hometown crowd, mom and dad at the speaker’s table, the high school coach, the pep band and the student section.

No one was going to verbal to the University of Louisville basketball team this week.

Not even a player with two good friends — Terrence Williams and Peyton Siva — extolling the virtues of Louisville.

Not with the way the stars were aligned before and after the Tip-Off Luncheon.

New arena opens Sunday. The outlook will get better.

  1. I knew as soon as I saw mom and pop sitting there, there was no way he was going 1,500 miles to play basketball. They want to keep tabs on him.

  2. He must be eligible to play as a freshman. Now, let’s wait and she if Cal calls him after his press conference.
