Can we all agree that the University of Louisville football team is in need of change unless Steve Kragthorpe embarks on a winning streak? The only other question seems to be who can be the angriest people in the fan base.

One would hope, however, all of them wish this young man well in Saturday’s game against Connecticut at Noon on WHAS-11:

  1. Oh please….I always cheer for my CARDINALS and have done for the past 30 years. No one has to remind me to give our players respect or suggest I hope THEY ever lose. I love these kids. As for TJ, I have always been a supporter and trust him to make the right decision when the time comes. Do I want Krag to win IF it means we will be stuck with him for another year or two? Therein lies the rub.

  2. Cheer for your team. Hoping for a loss because you don’t like the coach is silly. These players deserve all the respect we can give them and if you were to express a sentiment about hoping they lose to one of these players, I’m sure the reaction would be extreme.

Jurich will make his move when the time is right.

    1. Sorry Paul but the time was right a while ago. And as for those who say you have to give a coach more than two years I would point about 80 miles east. Seems to me trading Billie Clyde for Cal was not just a correct move but a strong one, the kind our football program, such as it is now, needed way before today.

  3. Love the kid – he and Justin have a lot of class…..I am so torn about the game tomorrow. I CAN’T want my Cardinals to lose but I am so afraid if they win, we’ll be stuck with “Bambi”…..what’s a fan to do???? Go CARDS!
