Biding time, U of L fans are, between the Notre Dame and Villanova games, waiting and anticipating. Time at a snail’s pace, wondering:

lville Whether the U of L basketball team was powered by adrenaline,  confidence, or both, in jumping out and maintaining a double-digit lead over Notre Dame until the final 3:45 minutes.

lvilleWhether the Cards will experience a letdown after an undeniably emotional win, come back pumped against Villanova, a team haven’t beaten since joining the Big East conference.

lvilleWhether Coach Rick Pitino will yield to a weak spot in his heart (if he has a weak spot) with so much at stake, allowing Juan Palacios and Terrance Farley to start on Senior Day against a challenging opponent.

lvilleWhether Juan Palacios will overcome the awkwardness that has become increasingly apparent, somehow, despite his aches and pains, return to his freshman form, hopefully soon.

lvilleWhether Terrence Williams has recovered from the flu or if the bug has migrated to other players.

lvilleWhether  U of L fans will be celebrating their first Big East Conference championship a week from now, acknowledging that Villanova could be a major challenge.

lville Whether game time will ever arrive.
