Freshman (!) Dylan Mares celebrates after scoring his team-leading eighth goal of the season in the University of Louisville soccer team’s 2-1 win at Syracuse on Wednesday. The Zionsville, Ind., native is a former Indiana All-State player who led his team to a state championship with 24 goals last season.

Jay Rolfe works in Business Application Development and Support for the Ford Motor Credit Company in Dearborn, Mich., and travels to many of his son’s games.
