[stextbox id=”custom”] The University of Louisville football staff will not have a signing day party on February 3 as has been customary over the past decade. No explanation given for not having one. Maybe it has something to do with the date being only the first day of a signing period that continues through April 1.

Louisville Sports Report, which owns louisville.rivals.com, has announced it will have a Signing Day Meet-Up at the Parrish House, across Floyd Street from Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Starting at 6 p.m.

No coaches are scheduled to attend but there will be video highlights of the recruits. Admission is $1 to cover a donation to the Parrish House, and there’ll be a cash bar with beer and soda. Link

Meanwhile, Mike Hughes, over at Inside The Ville or louisville.scout.com, is hinting he may have some sort of recruiting day event.

The winner will be the one that gets the Lady Birds.

  1. Hope everyone will join us over at the Parrish House for this event. It stinks not being able to go to the B&W for it this year, but we’ll try to have some fun over at ‘Al’s Place”.

  2. Should be interesting to see who goes where if there are two separate events. Rivals people seem to be more mature except for a couple of posters like Zipp and his attorney suckup buddies. The Ville seems to be made up mostly of kids or young guys who spend all their time on ITV or older guys with agendas or chips on their shoulders. The funny thing is they don’t realize they are criticizing fellow fans when they talk about “the other site.” Really juvenile stuff they harms the overall image of the university.
