  1. In the immortal words of Douglas Adams, “Don’t Panic” (For those who don’t get that mostly unrelated to U of L sports cultural reference, it is the product of a book described at the following link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don%27t_Panic_%28The_Hitchhiker%27s_Guide_to_the_Galaxy%29#Don.27t_Panic)

Our problems are not of galactic proportion. We can take comfort that we are who they thought we were. The football team was never as good as that top ten ranking, and we are only two games away from the exhilaration that comes with uttering the phrase, wait until next year. The basketball is as good as predicted, we’ll have Gorgui back in time for the important part of the schedule, and he’ll be joining a stronger team, (all of our men showed over the last year they can climb a learning curve, Dieng will not have to step in as our savior).

That said, I’m going back to crying in my towel for another day over the horror of last weekend.

  2. Deing and Bridgewater both with broken wrists. Bridewater’s could have been avoided if o-line and coach’s did their job. Let’s hope he’s not affected Thursday and cards win
