Tailgated with good friends in the Bronze Lot for the first time today. Friends are great, food is good, tailgating is intense and the walk to the stadium is 90% less walking than from Section C of the Green Lot.

Hunter was warming up during tailgating, Hunter Hennesy, the four-year-old son of Chad and Cindy Henderson. They swear they didn’t name him after Louisville quarterback Hunter Cantwell but he is wearing No. 14.

A great crowd of 36,694 fans were on hand for the Cards’ second game, first win, a 51-10 decision over Tennessee Tech.

Leading cheers for fans in the stands was Kate Bell, the four-year-old granddaughter of Janice and Jim Demeyer, longtime fans and supporters of University of Louisville athletics. She is the daughter of Dana and Bill Bell. She and her big sister Emily are junior Cardinal cheerleaders and enjoy attending the games.
