Sara Hammond named Miss Basketball

University of Louisville fans are going to love Sara Hammond.

The Rockcastle County High School senior, who has signed with the U of L women’s basketball team, has been named Miss Basketball in Kentucky for the 2010-11 season after leading her team to the state championship this season. She averaged 16 points and 12 rebounds per game.

You can see her in action against Indiana on Friday, June 10 at Bellarmine.
