Ten years since 9/11, how much we as a nation have changed. Inexplicable and inexcusable ignorance and hatred creating so much bloodshed, reminding us of the consistent shortcomings of humankind. A nation coming together for a brief while, but getting emeshed again in the myopia almost before the dust and smoke from the towers has dissipated. A few scenes from our recent trip to New York, the first one captured by my wife Barbara from the harbor.
