A dozen fans were in line for tickets late Friday afternoon for the University of Louisville’s annual Red-White basketball scrimmage, amidst reports that demand is high for the Oct. 24th event.

Expect a wait if you go out to the Papa John’s location. Some folks can’t find the money in their purses or pockets, have a hard time deciding on seats, or just want to ask a lot of questions. Then there’s only one ticket seller as well. A lawn chair might come in handy.

This observer was able to obtain seats in Sec. 322 on the side, upper level. So supply is ample for now. And, hey, there’s no handling charge added at the ticket office.

  1. Oh, not meant for you Charlie…seems a lot of people don’t realize that you can get these through TicketMaster and they have waived all of the extra fees they normally tack on to each ticket. Great photo, by the way.;)

  2. No reason to make the trip downtown and then wait in line. I ordered 5 tix on TicketMaster and only had to pay $3.05 service charge (for all 5) for a total of $38.05, can’t beat that for a late afternoon of Cards basketball scrimmage.
