[stextbox id=”custom”] There’s a new blog in town and it’s managed by a couple of fellow University of Louisville fanatics — Paul and Sonja Sykes — who are regular contributors to Card Game. If the past is any indication, they will post frequently. The blog is called Cardinal Couple. They intend to keep providing Card Game with material but don’t be surprised if they get wrapped up in this project. We thank Paul and Sonja for their past and future contributions and wish them well. Here’s a link to Cardinal Couple. [/stextbox]

  1. Thank you.

What we try to intend to do is cover the University of Louisville’s women’s sports the best we know how to.

Be assured, our presence here at Card Game will not diminish. Sonja has a mission to try and get as much information out there as possible about the joy, excitement and success of UofL’s women’s athletic endeavors. I stand fully with her on this. We have an incredible base of women’s sports at UofL and I encourage all of you to get behind them. support them and show your love and admiration for them.

Thanks to this site’s founder and driving force, Charlie for being such a benevolent and willing enthusiast of the athletic programs at UofL. He is our patron saint. so to speak, and there is not a finer Cardinal “observer” out there. We are fortunate and humbled to call him our friend and associate. If you look up “UofL fan” in the dictionary, I hope that Charlie’s picture is next to the definition. Becuase, he is the finest that we know.

Along with all of you, we will spread the word. GO LADY CARDS! It is our time to shine. Come along for the journey.

    -Paul and Sonja

  2. Congratulations and best wishes, Paul and Sonja. We can never have too many positive forums for discussing anything UofL. Go Cards!
