The honored jerseys of University of Louisville football icons will move to the east side of the stadium this season. They’re being moved because of the addition of electronic ribbon advertising strips in front of the luxury boxes on the west side.
The guess here is the jerseys will be displayed on the front border of the new upper deck in the expanded stadium because there’s simply more room for them. This will provide much deserved increased exposure for the former greats.
