Almost complete and total domination.

The University of Louisville cheerleading and dance teams have done it again, winning three national championships at the National Cheerleading Association/National Dance Alliance in Daytona Beach.

The coed U of L Cheerleading team won their sixth straight national title, and the smaller coed squad regained their title from two years ago. The Ladybirds Dance Team won their second consecutive national championship. The all-girl squad finished third.

“Our student-athletes rose to the occasion and handled the pressure despite being the team to beat,” said Spirit Coordinator Todd Sharp. “The pressure is unreal and this was one of the most competitive championships yet.”

Well done.

  1. Congratulations to our cheerleaders/dancers once again. What a great time to be a Cardinal fan. We are so proud of our kids at the University of Louisville. TJ is the best and I hope he WILL be our AD for life. As always, Go CARDS!!
