The University of Louisville’s Ken Lolla has been named Coach of the Year by the National College Soccer Coaches of America following his team’s 20-1-3 season and appearance in the national championship game. Earlier he had received a similar honor from Soccer America.

Always the motivator, Lolla recently appeared as the keynote speaker at Paducah Tilghman High School’s annual soccer banquet. Paducah Tilghman, of course, is the all-everything powerhouse school in Western Kentucky.
