Minnesota ties that bind

Nick Burdi picked 46th in the Major League Baseball draft. By the Twins, of course.

A second home for University of Louisville athletes, every road leading to Minneapolis.

UofL players for all sports. Gorgui Dieng, with the NBA Minnesota Timberwolves, Teddy Bridgewater the NFL Minnesota Vikings, and Asia Taylor the WNBA Minnesota Lynx. Richard Pitino, of course, is coach of the University of Minnesota basketball team.

The four seasons of Minnesota: Winter, still winter, not winter, and almost winter. Most natives owe more money on their snowmobiles than their cars.

But warm welcomes for UofL athletes. Gotta love Minneapolis.
