Not much to write home about on Saturday. The University of Louisville basketball team with another nail biter against a lower level basketball unknown. Hanging on to defeat Detroit Mercy 73-67, thanks largely to a late 3-pointer by Noah Locke. Plus, 18 points from Dre Davis. Too much drama in front of 12,561 at the KFC Yum! Center. Up one game, down the next, the trend thus far.

Teddy Bear Day on Saturday, with dozens of donated Teddy Bears going to underprivileged kids. Mike Cundiff with grandkids Dixon and Ruby who brought bears. Levon helped but didn’t make the game (Mike DeZern photo).
