Angel McCoughtry and Lee Corso, two individuals who left indelible marks on University of Louisville athletic history, will be inducted into the Kentucky Hall of Fame Wednesday at the Crowne Plaza.

McCoughtry is the all-time leader for the women’s basketball program in many categories, including leading scorer and rebounder with 2,779 points and 1,261 rebounds. She averaged 20 points and 9.1 rebounds per game. She was recently named a member of the 2012 USA Basketball Olympic team.

Corso, a member of the ESPN football broadcast team, was football coach at U of L from 1969 through 1972, compiling a 28-11-3 record. He went on to Indiana where his teams were 41-68-2 over 10 seasons.
